Last November 27th, the law no. 57 on the promotion of the export of agricultural, forestry and fishery products was published.
Its purpose is to institute a system to smoothly trade with foreign countries and make the certification process easier to export Japanese products.

The country is going to set up a department for exporting agricultural, forestry and fishery products by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, and its first task will concern the creation of a plan to promote export. Certificated export projects can finally receive financial support from the government. The law will enter into force on April 1st, 2020
