Japan - Rice exports to Vietnam now authorized
An agreement was reached for brown rice
The export of Japanese rice to Vietnam is authorized for polished rice but not for brown rice.
After a confrontation between the "Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing" and the "Plant Quarantine Authority" of Vietnam, it was concluded that it will be possible to export whole grain rice under the same conditions as polished rice, only regarding edible rice.
