Mérieux NutriSciences_StrawberryField

The Safety Section of Agriculture and Fisheries, The Safety Bureau of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, the Ministry of Food and Drug Administration (KFDA) of South Korea, intensively collected and inspected 17 cities and provinces across the country from January 16 to January 20 in order to strengthen the safety management of agricultural products such as citrus fruits and strawberries.

For common agricultural products such as citrus fruits, apples, etc. and the cultivated agricultural products such as strawberries, seaweed, etc., MRLs of pesticide and of heavy metal were tested. For reference, last year, 265 agricultural products were collected and inspected, and 4 cases exceeding the permissible level of residual pesticides were seized and discarded.

Please get in touch with our Consulting Services if you need any support for LMRs of pesticide.
