Italy – Boost in agro-food export to China
In 2017 the Italian export increased by 15%
The “Made in Italy” agro-food sector to China recorded a + 15% in 2017 according to the latest Coldiretti analysis carried out on ISTAT data. The value in euros is more than 448 million. The entry into force of the Chinese duties on 128 goods from the United States (including pork, wine and fruit) would have led to such a result.
The analysis highlights that wine has even recorded a + 29% (total of 130 million euro in export in 2017), olive oil + 25%, but also cheese and pasta have registered a marked improvement.
