Portugal: 50 new markets opened for 190 agricultural products
This is the growth in the last three years
The Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development of Portugal, during the commemorative sessions of its Centennial, pointed out that in the last three years Portugal has opened 50 new markets for 190 agricultural products.
Agriculture in Portugal has been re-qualified and restructured.
The small-scale agriculture is fundamental for the social and territorial cohesion of the country: water and irrigation are the main challenges ahead to increase self-sufficiency and promote exports.
