Open discussion for a packaging standard
In Chile, the Ministry of the Environment officially opened a discussion on a new regulation that can regulate the use of packaging with the aim of limiting its impact on the environment.
The goal of the regulation is to try to enhance the waste collection and establish objectives for packaging in order to encourage its reuse or recycling.
Liquids and metal, paper and cardboard packaging, as well as plastic and glass, will be concerned by the new standard.
