In order to sell a product in a target country, it is necessary to prove that it is compliant with relevant hygienic and sanitary legislation.

This is achieved  by verifying that the physical, chemical and biological properties meet limits required by the laws of countries the product is destined for.  The most regulated aspects are chemical and biological contaminants that can be present in foods.  Contaminants, such as heavy metals and pathogens, have permissible limits set in each country.  If the product exceeds these limits, the product does not meet requirements and must not be sold in that country’s market.

We can assist the customer by carefully analyzing and assessing health certificates and all analytical reports of the finished product (microbiological and chemical) and check that it complies with the restrictions applied by the target country.
