The amendment to the Act on the commercial quality of agri-food products (labeling with term "Polish product") has been published on December 13, 2016.
The purpose of the Act is to introduce new regulations on the voluntary labeling of agri-food products with term "Polish Product", together with an indication of pattern of additional graphic mark possible to use when declaring such information.

The Act regulates the possible to use of term "Polish product" and additional graphic mark for unprocessed products as well as for processed products.
Agri-food products, which are marked with a graphic containing information "Polish product" incompatible with the pattern set out in the implementing provisions of the Act, may be marketed until 31 December 2017.
The Act enters into force on 1 January 2017.
