Portugal - Food Supplements: new opinions on border products
Three substances involved
The Working Group on Border Products between Food Supplements and Medicines, made up of representatives from DGAV, INFARMED, ASAE and Academia (FFUC and ICBAS), issued opinions on the presence of three substances in food supplements - Arginine, 5-HTP And Coenzyme Q10.
The aim is to clarify the status of products containing these substances:
- Arginine;
- 5-HTP;
- Coenzyme Q10.
