Japan - Legislation on the characterization of additives updated

New analysis methods

Last November, the Japanese Ministry of Health amended a new regulation to update a law published in 1959 concerning  “Food and Additives”.
Some analysis methods were changed and 89 new Compositional Standards have been settled (62 related to enzymes and 27 to other components).
