E-commerce is dynamically developing area also in the Polish food retail network sector. 

Did you know that in case of online selling of food products obligatory label information must be also published on websites, among others a list of ingredients and a nutrition declaration.
In the case of prepacked foods offered for sale by means of distance communication most of mandatory food information defined in Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011, shall be available before the consumer decides to go ahead with the purchase. Moreover all mandatory particulars shall be available at the moment of delivery.
In the case of non pre-packed foods requirements are set out in Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 and in national Polish legislation.
These requirements however, do not apply to foods offered for sale by means of automatic vending machines or automated commercial premises.
