Brazil - Food supplements: proposal for simpler rules
The Brazilian legislation on food supplements is about to change to make the criteria for regularization and product requirements clearer.
The Agency approved six public consultations that bring together all the regulations for the sector. The legislative proposal covers the entire legislation on food supplements, specifically the list of ingredients and labeling. This draft will be open to public consultations for 90 days starting from 1 January 2018.
