A new free meeting with the Labeling and Regulatory Division of Mérieux NutriSciences Italy on March 23 in Padua, at Villa Italia (Via S. Marco, 51).

The conference on “Food labeling: mandatory elements and marketing aspects” will start at 9:30 with the registration of participants. Two speeches are envisaged: the first will be delivered by Massimo Buonavita (Senior Regulatory Expert, Mérieux NutriSciences) who will focus on “Food labeling in Italy and in the EU: fields of application of Regulation 1169/2011 and national regulations”. At 11.00, Ambra Corbellari (Scientific Expert, Mérieux NutriSciences) will deal with “Regulated and non-regulated claims: nutrition, health, ingredients and sensory claims. Provability and sustainability”. The coffee break is at 10:45 and at 12:00, a debate with the participants will precede the closure of the session at 12:30.
