Italy – Agro food export business is growing after first 9 months of the year
In November Istat (National Institute of Statistics in Italy) published new data on the agribusiness export business: in the first 9 months of 2017, the Italian products collected more than 29,8 billion Euros with a growth rate of +7%, compared with 2016 data.
3,7 billion euros collected only in September (+6,4% compared with September 2016).
It is now easier to reach the 2020 goal, that is 50 billion euros per year.
Minister of Agricultural Food and Forestry Policies believes that this goal will be feasible thanks to a politics against the “Italian sounding”, as settled after the successful Italian Expo in 2015.
