Japan, new rules to register food for special medical purposes
A ministerial decree provides new requirements
A recent ministerial decree in Japan, changes the registration and authorization processes for food for special medical purposes. Every new information about the effects of these food have to be communicated to the Consumers’ Minister.
Moreover, the producer is now obliged to present every year analysis and quality check analysis for such products.
