Ukraine - Draft requirements for both coffee and chicory extracts

Last July, a process to submit to the Ukraine Department of Agrarian Policy and Agriculture requirements for coffee extracts and chicory extracts was established. The goal of the draft is to define such requirements in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Technical Regulations and Conformity Assessment”.
In order to receive comments and proposals, the Ministry published it on its official website. Terminology and labeling to prevent entrepreneurial practices that mislead the consumer are the key parts of the draft.
The new requirements will come into force six months after the official publication of the law.
