Australia - Lupin as an Allergen

Lupin To Be Declared On Food Labels By May 25th 2018

On May 25th Food Standards Australia and New Zealand (FSANZ) gazetted a transitional standard where Lupin and any products derived from Lupins are to be declared as an allergen in any food product they are a part of. The standard is 1.2.3-1A and will be in force by 25th May 2018 and there is no allowance for stock in trade post that date.
