Poland - New regulation on the quality of water for human consumption
Regulation of the Minister of Health of Poland specifies microbiological and physicochemical and organoleptic requirements for water quality and regulations regarding its testing. The objective of this Regulation is to ensure effective monitoring over the quality of water intended for human consumption and thus increase of health safety of the water.
Provisions established in this regulation include: (1) water potability testing methods; (2) the minimum frequency and sampling of water samples; (3) drinking water test parameters; (4) water quality monitoring program; (5) methods of supervision of laboratories that provide water testing services; (6) ways to inform consumers about water quality.
