Until recently, in order to export organic agricultural products from Japan to Taiwan, two certifications issued by such countries were necessary.

After the agreement signed on Oct. 30 and from Feb. 1, 2020, the export of authorized equivalent products with Japanese certification
(Japanese Agricultural Standard) and the import of organic products having the Taiwanese certification (only for products that comply with the Japanese system) are possible.
